يؤكد هذا المثل على أهمية تغليب الحكمة والنزاهة على الثروة المادية. ويشير إلى أنه لا ينبغي الخوف من غضب مثل هذا الشخص، المدفوع بالجشع، لأنه ضعيف بدون مال و المال من الميلان يميل من ناس إلى ناس.
