يحنبك – يتركك وحيدا ويهرب في المحن.

يأتي هذا المثل بمعنى أن إحاطة نفسك بأشخاص تنقصهم الشجاعة يمكن أن يتخلوا عنك في أي وقت عند ظهور الشدائد و المحن، أيضا يبرز هذا المثل أهمية اختيار الرفاق و الأصحاب الجياد و الرجال.

Literally: “Keep distant from the cowardly, for in your hour of need, they will flee, leaving you to face adversity alone.”
Equivalent: “Stick with the strong-hearted; the cowardly lead to calamity.”
