هناك استخدامين لهذا المثل الاستخدام الأول هو التأكيد على استحسان عمل الأشياء في وقتها المناسب. أما الاستخدام الثاني فهو التأكيد على الصبر على الأشياء او على النتائج لأن كل شيء يأتي في وقته المناسب.
