يضرب هذا المثل في من يعد و يُمَنِّيَ شخص ما بأشياء كثيرة لكن الحاجة هي في تلك اللحظة. و يضرب في من يهتم باللحظة و لا يشغل باله بالمستقبل.

Literally: “I will give you a tail fat tomorrow” I promise; “We’re about to become a feast for the vultures.” He answers.
Equivalent: “Promised berries will not fill the basket.”
This proverb applies to those who make many promises and express numerous wishes, yet only focus on the immediate needs. It also applies to those who live in the moment without considering the future.
