لـا تــــضارب حــيث تُضرب

يأتي المثل بمعنى نصيحة، ان لا توَدِّف (تتورط) و تفتعل مضرابة (مشاجرة) في مكان أنت عارف إنك ستُضرب فيه ضربا مبرحا.
Literally: “”Don’t fight where you are sure that you will be defeated.”
Equivalent: “Don’t fight battles you can’t win.”
The proverb comes as an advice which means that do not get involved and start a quarrel in a place where you know that you will be severely beaten.
