شاهق: الجبل المرتفع
داهق: شديد. داهق اسم فاعل للفعل دهق، دهق الشيء بمعنى كسره وقطعه.
يضرب هذا المثل لمن يوكل أمره إلى شخص فيحيله إلى شخص أخر و هكذا ولا يلقى أي نتيجة.
Literally: “From the towering peak to intense peak to the soul taker. ”
Equivalent: “Too many cooks spoil the broth”
This proverb is applied when a person delegates their responsibilities to another, who then passes them on to yet another individual, resulting in no productive outcome.
